Rose Parade!

Did you watch it? Did you watch it?

If you missed seeing one of the most touching floats in the parade, here is a clip for you to enjoy!

This year my mom and I got to help decorate the Donate Life Rose Parade Float!!! What a wonderful and moving experience. We went as part of the JJ’s Legacy team. My mom had decorated a float when she was my age, so it was such a great experience to get to go with her this year to decorate. This will probably be the greatest collaboration projects we get to work on and it was such a honor to get to help! Thank you JJ’s Legacy and Donate Life for letting us be a part of this wonderful event!

The Empties!

This is probably one of the coolest awards I have ever gotten and I am so honored to have won! Thank you to the cast and crew...I had so much fun working with all of you! I LOVE the Empty Space Theatre and everyone involved! I admire all the hard work that goes into running the theatre and putting on a show. I am blown away by the amount of talent that I see on stage and in the gallery and I wish more people would experience this! The Empty Space runs on donations, so please come and see a show! Their new season just began and you don’t want to miss out on some amazing productions. You’ll be hooked just like we are!

Oh My Gaud...y!

This is a mess! It was made with lots of glue and lots and lots of beads! What was I thinking? I still love it and had fun making it even though it's all over the place. I'm still finding beads everywhere!

A Quilt!

Finally a picture of a quilt! This blog was actually created to post pictures of our quilts, so we could share them with other members of the Cotton Patch Quilters. Well, it’s been over a year, but we finally have a quilt on here. This American themed lap or hanging quilt will be donated to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for their Valentine’s Day Raffle. Hopefully, we’ll get some more quilts up here soon.
