Exciting News!

A good friend of mine has published a screenplay on Smashwords! What does this mean??? Well, you can now own a copy of "Geeks -vs- Zombies," an original comedy/horror play written by James Kopp and David Rock! This show was featured for its second year at The Empty Space and proved to be a huge success once again. Word is spreading quickly about "Geeks -vs- Zombies" and I'm excited to see where it goes from here. Download your copy here for only $1.99 and check out the trailer here. How do I know this is so great? It's because I was the Assistant Stage Manager; actually... Assistant Zombie Wrangler the first year. I had the best time and got to see firsthand all the talent and dedication that went into every production. Please support these artists. They do what they love and that's what I admire the most.

School Craft: Halloween

Thank you Martha for this amazing idea! These shirts could have been a HUGE DISASTER, but they turned out to be HUGELY DELIGHTFUL instead. My second graders rocked this look. Next on the agenda... bean candles!

Halloween at the Space!

Here is some of our art that was on display at The Empty Space gallery! We will be there again for their Christmas show! The reception is going to be so much fun! More details to follow!

Go U.S.A.!!!

It’s safe to say that my mom and I pretty much feel like the Olympics is one of the greatest things in the world! We shut down when they take place and get caught up in everything! We both have met two Olympic athletes and we hope to continue growing that list. They really are an inspiration and motivation. I’m just going to put it out there... I WANT TO WORK FOR THE OLYMPICS!!! I have never been to an Olympic games, but I think 2012 will be the year! And if Apolo Ohno decides to compete in the 2014 games, I don’t care what I’m doing... I‘m going!!!

It’s no surprise to the people around me, that I am a huge Olympic supporter and I think this little guy proves it. My dear friend makes these cute little Itty Boos. Well, last year I made her a spider headband and this year she traded me this guy! I swear I about cried! He’s perfect!!! There are no words for how awesome I think this is. I am so grateful for her friendship and I am so inspired by her art.

This has motivated me to get my act together. I promised to make some people art and I owe another special person a coaster, an owl, and some other goodies. I haven’t forgotten about you all and I will get those mailed soon! I promise!
