Junk Journals/Bobbies Swap

This post has been extremely long overdue.  It has been months (almost a year) since I received the sweetest package in the mail from Chacoy over at Living in La La Land.  I got in touch with her after we participated in a craft swap because I feel in love with her journals and bobbies.  She agreed to swap something with me.  Life was chaotic at the time and I've since then forgotten what I had sent to her (if I remember, I update this and post a picture).  I haven't forgotten what a beautiful journal and fun bobbies she sent to me.  The bobbies are so sweet, fun, and colorful.  The junk journal is put together so well and has tons of secrets stashed away like a chalkboard page, pockets, pinwheel, paint, a ribbon closure with charm, and so many other fun details.  I can't thank her enough for sharing her talent with us.  This journal will be filled with wonderful memories and happy stories.

       

       

       

       

       

        

Craft Swap Extra

During last month's Spring Craft Swap, we saw such a fun crocheted necklace.  I had to immediately reach out to this crafter and ask if she would be willing,  please oh please, to swap with me even though we weren't matched up.  She agreed and sent this beautiful necklace, yarn samples, and the sweetest note.  We even had a nice chat on the phone. 

Spring 2013 Craft Swap

Here's our second swap update. We actually joined two groups this time, which means we gave and got four packages.  We sent out aprons and dish towels and received wreaths, a bracelet, and an apron.  The fuzzy bright green one is going in Gypsea.  We get to meet her next weekend... so excited!!!

Valentines 2013 Craft Swap

We love crafts swaps and my dear friend, Angela, introduced us to a fun group that loves swaps too.  We sent out two heart shaped embellished pillows and in return got a beautiful detailed quilled picture and fun hoop wall hanging.  We love them both.  We will be participating in their Spring swap, so we'll post pictures of that later on.

Craft Swap: V-Day!

We just finished up another craft swap and loved it just as much as the others.  It's so fun to mail little crafty things all around the world!  We are meeting so many sweet and talented people and we are already signed up for a Spring Swap.  Here's what we made for our new friends.  We'll post pictures of what we received shortly.
