Attention everyone!!! We have some exciting news! A friend of ours has created an organization called Socks-On! The goal is to join in the fight against Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy (DM)! Throughout the year, Sock-On! will have events and fundraisers, so don’t miss out! Check out Socks-On! for more details! The first fundraiser was a successful Super Bowl Party! Of course we have to put a creative spin to things, so here’s the scoop! Our friend Linna (Linna Designs) designed the logo, the very creative Grammy Glo made the windsocks and the cards, and we made the raffle board! The food was amazing thanks to Cafe Med! There was also the coolest handmade raffle prize...a beaded service set! I’ll get the details on this artist! Her work is beautiful and she’s local! And then there are the SOCKS!!! If you don’t have a pair, you need a pair! Come out to an event or email me and I’ll get the bracelet and socks out to you! Please tell everyone you know so we can get the word out!
