Numbers 12 and 13

My other aunt made these! Also, too cute not to share!

Numbers 10 and 11

My aunt made these! They are too cute not to share!

Numbers 8 and 9

Hand built ceramics! The frog took me like thirty minutes...I’m serious! I really don’t know how that happened! I just grabbed some clay and this is what it turned into!

Number 7

This avocado painting stressed me out! I’m not really good at drawing or mixing colors or working on something that takes longer than thirty minutes to an hour to make, but Vikki Cruz helped me every step of the way. I would take any art class from her in a heartbeat!

Number 6

Take any discarded piece of wood and draw your shape. Cut it out with a saw. Sand the edges to round them. Use any paint you’d like. Seal it with a gloss. Add a nail hole to hang it. Six easy steps for craft number six!

Number 5

A skirt! So easy to make and comfortable to wear! And...it has an elastic waistband!!! This pattern is just basically two trapezoids sewn together.

Number 4

What the heck is this? I’m not quite sure myself (I think I was going for a wind chime), but I made it and so can you. This is actually a really fun technique. Take an image and copy it (if it has writing make sure it’s in mirror image). Then...right when the image has been scanned to copy, open the printed. YES, open it! And take the paper out from inside the printer. Why? The ink on the paper will still be wet. Take this image and press it onto your ceramic slab. Be careful though because the image can be smeared easily before the first firing. After that your good to go. Add a low fire glaze, a high fire glaze, keep it as is (this is what I did), add a clear glaze...you decide! This finished piece was definitely put together last minute. It will be reworked into something amazing soon we hope!
